AP House London

Hi All,
I have an appointment at AP house in London later in the week, my first visit.
Really Intrested in a 37mm Royal Oak, time and date only, ideally blue but I know that’s asking allot.
Do you have any tips on what I should expect? I hope 37mm model is more possible to get on the list for. It’s something I genuinely want to wear and 37mm is more more suited to me vs larger sizes.
I have a few watches so far (Rolex and Tudor etc.) but not AP.
Wish me luck.

You should express interest in other watches as well, such as ROO and perhaps the newer codes

Your request for a blue dial might depend on how long you’re prepared to wait for the watch. AP aren’t like Rolex where you’re expected to buy non sports watches in order to qualify for a watch that you’d actually want to wear.

Thanks for the info.
Actually I am ok waiting, I have had 2 watches in 2 weeks so waiting 6/9/12 months is really not an issue.
All I can do is ask. I will report back.

probably closer to the 12+ mark, but if you stay on it, you'll have a shot

Actually I was thinking more like 2-3 years just to manage expectations. I’m not an authority on timescales BTW but I’m just thinking of my own experiences. If it happens in 1 year then that’s even better - as you say ask the question and then it’s down to AP.

I somewhat disagree with the above, I suggest only expressing interest in the models you are interested to buy. Otherwise if you get allocated a Code you have no interested in buying then would look bad. But say you are looking for a 15510ST, you do need to be open to 2-3 different colour combinations though.

It is definitely easier to get APs, even SS ROs, nowadays compared to a year ago. You will still need to wait a bit though on the popular ones.
