216570 Explorer II on NATOs, Which one looks better?

Hey everyone! I thought I'd share some pictures of 21mm NATO straps I ordered from strapcode. I noticed a lot of people have been wearing 20mm for the watch when in fact, the lug size was 21mm. My OCD could not stand the 1mm gap even though it's really not noticeable. I look everywhere and happened to see that strapcode updated their lineup with new 21mm NATO straps! Enjoy the pictures and please feel free to comment on which one looks better.

Black

or

Black with orange/gray stripes

I think it would look great on a black 2 piece zulu strap. Nato's were designed for watches with fixed lugs, so I prefer them on that kind of watch. Two piece Zulu's IMHO look much better on modern day watches.

Put that ExpII on a solid international orange NATO.

They both look wonderful. The black is perfect for the more subdues look while the stripes compliments the watch in a way that makes it "pop." It's not an either or proposition, depends on garb and the occaision.

The stripe looks good but I gotta agree with Adam. Orange Nato would rock ...

I was thinking of ordering the black/gray/orange but after seeing your photos, I think I'll pass on the NATOs.

I am a fan of the 2 piece straps because they let the watch sit close to the wrist.

but

although the Nato's were originally designed for the fixed lug watches, they also bring an important element of extra security to watches with spring bars,
(ESPECIALLY watches with no lugholes, spring bars with no lugholes have a extra lip)
if 1 spring bar pops on a Nato, the watch head can still remain attached to the strap at 1 end.
vs
the 2 piece Zulu's, if 1 spring bar pops, you may or may not hear your watch hit the floor?

Dude, I have like small wrists, lol. That hole seems to make the best adjustment. If I use the next hole, it wobbles on my wrist.

Thanks everyone! I definitely recommend strapcode for anyone that want to order these from their website! I don't work for them nor did I receive anything from them.
