3rd year warranty sticker

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has experience in registering for the 3rd year warranty sticker from AP through their website and approximately how long it took to receive the sticker (I am located in Canada).

I registered my ROC 2 weeks ago and haven't received any updates since, so not sure if it's en route or if I need to follow up.

It could also just be me being impatient, as waiting for stuff to arrive is not one of my strengths

Would be appreciated if others can let me know approximately how long I should wait before following up, and who I may be able to follow up with.

Cheers,
James

Hi James, the sticker which comes with letter can take up to eight weeks to arrive. The quickest I have had one back after registration is four weeks. Enjoy your watch and stop stressing. The letters come direct from head office.

Just stay on top of it. I registered using my Mac and they didn't receive anything. I had to go through AP directly. I've heard some get their sticker within 3-4 weeks.

Thanks! Good to know it can take some time, so looks like I'm just impatient after all

I'll wait for a few more weeks then. Would be nice if the 2012 catalogue is out and they send me one of those too

Cheers,
James

I think warranty stickers are mainly used to claim the issue..... If there's any trouble during the period then warranty stickers may help a lot to receive the claim amount against the scrap watch....... etc............

Waited quite a while for mine - couple of months IIRC - and finally called Clearwater. Had it in hand the next week.

Don't forget to send it he watch in with the sticker/warranty book! The 3rd yr isn't valid until you do.

Martin, I couldn't wait any longer and sent my BB in without receiving the sticker. They simply printed it out in Clearwater and affixed it to my book when they did the check.

I had to call Betsie at APSC a few times as it took a few weeks to get here. I ended up receiving the same sticker twice. Is not AP's fault but the USPS.

This wont help you necessarily but I dropped my Diver off at the Repair Center. Took about a month for the adjustment and the testing. Received the book back with the sticker or course and a great brown travel box as well as the catalog. On the other hand, its 100 here in the summer (thats humidity) and bugs the size of small ponies. Feel better now??

Dammit. Why's everyone get the travel box and I've never gotten ONE?!? By the way I miss the humidity!

Wow... I took mine to AP in London for the 3rd year wty, and registered it with them and the sticker came through in two days!! So it's in the service book and I've had emails from AP Switzerland to say I'm registered ? So either I'm very lucky or AP London are super slick? Sadly no travel box

Yes, all stamped, came through with a peel off sticker stamped and dated in a large "do not bend" envelope
