Thoughts on this reference?
Hey fellow watch admirers/collectors. Came across this reference and wanted to here’s your thoughts. Classy, too loud, perfect?

It looks MUCH better in person, it can be a little flashy since the case is thick but an excellent choice. Not sure why it doesn't get much more love.

This Royal Oak Offshore looks much better on a rubber strap. The leather strap just doesn’t look as good in my opinion. The ROO on rubber strap is also 44mm vs 42mm for the one you mention. Most will opt for the 44mm on rubber.

Agree that this is much better on a rubber strap. A big chunk of rose gold on the wrist is not exactly subtle - depends on how much of a wow factor one looks for. Would be a fun piece for the right occasion, but not something I'd wear to work everyday.

AP House London had one a couple of years ago I think, maybe last year...time has no meaning these days...anyway, as always the pictures don’t do it justice.

I have this one and absolutely love it. I agree that the rubber strap is much better than the croc one. I also have the bracelet. It’s a serious hunk of metal with the bracelet. It has a totally different vibe with the strap though...like two watches in one.
There’s something about the dial color that goes so well with AP’s rose gold. |

I own this watch and absolutely love it. I hardly ever wear it with the crocodile strap. I wear mine with the grey rubber strap, it’s the strap that matches the face. Looks amazing in the sunlight. Would def recommend.

black dial version
i have this but in black dial... It is a nice piece! When i wear the 15400 or the 41mm chrono, ive had no one come up to me to talk about watches... but since getting this, 3 fellow watch lovers in public came up and we talked watches in under a week.
From what I gather, these are not hard to get from the boutiques, just have to wait 2 weeks or so with a deposit. The yellow dial version is also stunning, but discontinued, and gray market prices are still lower than the current retail. Depends which dial you like. i like the yellow and black dials... not so much the grey ones. |

Not the best photo but it’s the only one it will let me select for some reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
