Can I Trust this Deal? 9500,- ROLEX DAYTONA 2009 box + papers

Hey,
I have a deal for a 2009 Rolex Daytona black dial with box and papers for 9500,-

The seller is global-time-hbg with 100% positive feedback on eBay in over 355 transactions.

And what would be the safest way to pay the watch just in case, so I have the possibility to pull back my money?

Here is the watch:

Where is the watch located? Perhaps you could enlist the support of one of the members here to go check it out on your behalf.

Check out seller previous sold items, always pay via PayPal on eBay for protection. Ask for serial number to match the serial on the card. Good luck.

Maybe post pictures of it on here. That seems to really work from what I have seen.

I think it looks great. I would reiterate that it is best to do the transaction via ebay and also pay with paypal so you get that added buyer protection. Paypal protects you much more than a merchant account transaction and much, much more than a wire transfer. I say go for it. It looks great across the board to me. And with the protection from ebay and paypal, you don't really have any chance at getting burned.

Are you sure the watch has box and papers?? The ad clearly says no box and papers. And on a random serial watch at $9500 I am not sure I like that deal. But it is a good looking watch from a seller with a good reputation it seems.

Not sure who Todd is, but if this is the same "Global Time" ran by David and/or Jordan Gelerman, I would recommend that the OP look elsewhere.

Too many stories of fake/aftermarket parts, and bad press IMO. In fact, I believe I/we called them out here previously for selling (multiple) watches with counterfeit 18K bracelets.
He/they were members here and were subsequently banned IIRC. Just do a search here for "global" or "gelerman" then pop some popcorn and settle in for some good reading.

X2. Ad clearly states No Box and papers. Why not search for one here?

Virtually identical ad to this one: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53...mtid=824&kw=lg

But different serial numbers and slightly different photos. Easy to get confused between the 2 ads.

Hey guys,

So just a quick heads up to this deal.

So I ended up buying the watch not on ebay and paid 9500,-
It arrived saturday via Fedex.
So to me it looked in really good shape, mint condition I would say. But to be sure I went to the Rolex Store here in NYC and got an authenticy certificate for 150,- and they said it is an amazing piece for that price and 100% authentic.

So at the end of the day I have to say I had a good feeling since the watch arrived, but before and while waiting for it I was kind of unsure, as I did my research in both positiv and negativ directions towards the seller, but decided to give it a shot after calling paypal and see if I could pull back my money.

I know there seem people out there who were not very satisfied with the seller, but I happen to be not one of them.

I am very happy with this piece :)

Congrats, but we seem to have different definitions of the word mint.

Maybe it's the picture, but the marking on the bezel look like they are almost gone.

That hasn't been "mint" for some time, and would explain the $9500. Hopefully the rt lower lug is not as small as it appears in that photo.
As long as you're happy, that's all that matters.
How much is a new SS daytona bezel?
