Service Clasp
Morning all,
I was looking over a piece earlier yesterday, and took the following picture of the clasp. Dealer says it isn't a service clasp, despite having a big ol' "S V3" right there. The case serial is a "T". Am I wrong to think it's a service part? What do you all think? |

The clasp is correct for a watch case stamped around 1994/5.

Rolex used to stamp an S on all their service parts, but you don't see it much any more.
In this case I would say that it is a service S.

Whether its a service part or not the clasp code is from around 1996 but would doubt if it would effect the value. Its just a clasp and like most all clasps they have a lot of use and wear. and often replaced much like winding crowns.
