Japan members: Tokyo accomodation end of december

I used to be an active member on the forums but that changed when I went to my do my masters degree and i had too much other things on my plate.

Me and my girlfriend both graduated in september, and we started on a 3 month adventure around Japan and New Zealand.

I understand this is probably a long shot, but we are looking for accomodation in Tokyo from the 27th of december to the 4th of January. We have tried hostels and airbnb, but both are very expensive when living off a backpacker budget! It would mean the world to us if we could save this money to do more other things in Tokyo.

We are 2 honest, happy and clean 24 year olds from Belgium, with a passion for travelling, good food and other cultures, among other things!

Any help would be much, much appreciated!
