Discarding boxes of cheaper watches?

For those who now own a few watches, have you decided to just discard the boxes for those below a certain price point even though this is not ideal should you resell them? How do you decide and what is your rule?

I keep all the boxes for each watch I own. I might never sell them but I do give some away and it makes for a better gift as a complete set.

I typically keep boxes for all my watches [except my Seiko mods] as well as other household items that I plan to keep.

Might I ask where you keep all the boxes? Not everyone has a garage!

I keep all mine at the top of a guest room closet.

I have kept all the boxes for my mechanical watches, i dont keep for my Gshocks etc.

Can't keep everything but if I think I may want to sell it some day, then I do hang onto the box/papers.

American's tend to have a second house just for storing all their extra crap If I was in Tokyo where ever inch of space was precious, then I would throw the boxes away.

I keep my G-Shock boxes and tins. I find the tins good for travelling with expensive watches, as they're tough, well padded inside and potentially deter thieves with the G-Shock branding on the outside.

In this case, they probably shouldn't be collecting the watches, but should be collecting the money for a garage.
