Which annual calendar to go with: 5205 green dial or 5396 blue dial?

If you're going with an annual calendar from the current catalogue, which one of these would you choose?

I'm going to approach an AD with a request for one, but can't decide which. Certain features that I like in each.

If anyone knows retail pricing, that would be helpful too.

Thanks

I much prefer the 5205 thought it is a little bigger by 1.5 mm, but feels less so just based on the shape which is more rounded. The 5205 just feels a bit more modern and interesting to me. Of course I have neither but considered both.

The 5205 is a little cheaper at $57 v 63 USD. Though you might be able to get the 5396 on the secondary market for cheaper — less likely for the 5205R.

The 5205R is one of the few perfect Pateks IMO. Needs to be seen in person

I would disregard these 2 and go with the 5235 - much more interesting as a dressy timepiece.

Both great AC watches. If you can see them in person before deciding, it would be better and a watch on your wrist looks different from online. The 5205 wears a bit larger than the 5396.

As for pricing, if you check on the Patek website from Canada, you should be able to see the current price in CAD $$$.

In the US, from the website, it’s:

5205R: $57,370
5396R: $63,280

I don’t know if I’d say the current (olive green dial) is underrated haha. Trading above MSRP and pretty rare given it’s a 2022 novelty I believe

5205r green but I don't think it's underrated. It's a hot watch trading over MSRP.
