I have a hard one for you guys

Even if you consider the comparison apples to oranges which one would you choose the SS Daytona or the 312 Panerai, and why?

The title is disgusting, but I'll play along here.

First off, it's tough because it truly is apple & oranges. However, off the cuff, I'd go for the Daytona personally. This would of course depend on what you had in your collection, etc though.

I know the Daytona is my next purchase and I already have the 312.

Although the 243 has been calling my name.

Welcome to the sickness.....

Good luck!!

I think I woild take the 312

Although I love the Rolex watches that I own I really love this PAM and cannot wait to get another. Sounds crazy doesn't it? I would sell my TT Daytona in a heartbeat but I would not sell the PAM 90.

Give it some time before you decide. Right now you just have Panerai sickness. Take your time and enjoy the ride.

Between the two I would personally go for the Daytona. Now if I had to choose between Daytona and a 249, that would be another story...

That is a great watch as well I bet more would take this one over the SS Rolex

and they are comparable in price. What a great watch also!

Buy whatever you like most. You will never regret it in the end. Good luck...

The Daytona does nothing for me so I'd personally go for the 312.

That's a great point. Between the two listed I'd go Daytona. However if a 233 or 270 were thrown in the mix.......

That is a hard one.

I have both watches and wear the 312 more but would get the Daytona. Daytona is a classic and in my opinion my versatile. Like someone already said you will eventually get them both. Good Luck!

I've got a Daytona and am seriously thinking of selling to get a PAM249 if I can find one. This PAM stuff is addictive. I just got my third PAM yesterday which is within two months of purchasing my first one.

I have a Daytona. Gave it to my wife. I wear my 233 the most of all of my watches.
