Stay Away from this one...
If you are a big fan of interesting watches, take a look at this gem on fleabay: 380217254329. One would think a seller with such feedback would know better.
BTW, sent a report in but unlikely it will be pulled in time. |

I am not schooled enough to spot a fake. (Yet) Aside from the fact it's beat up, what alerts you it's a fake? Or is that not the issue here?
Thank You |

This I noticed at first glance - Hour markers, date font and location in window, bezel font, check the 30 and its angle, winding crown and crown guards, then to top that the movement :-)
PS the clasp is a classic :

The biggest giveaway (besides the fake movement and clasp) is that the SS caseback is marked 16610 (the model # for a SS sub date) and 18k. I've seen this before and its such a dumb mistake I have to laugh.

Thanks MCl
What's really disturbing is that someone with such a high feedback count and represents some form of established business should be more honest. Many who don't know real from fake would have purchased it thinking they are buying the real deal. Most know to stay away from low feedback or foreign sellers, but the audacity of this seller took me by surprise. |

Is this supposed to be the St. Bernard Swiss hallmark applied not by Rolex but the precious metal control?
