Hi all, I am new to pens just bought my 3rd pen which is a burgandy Cartier Santos BP. Unlike the two Montblanc pens that I bought recently, I can't seem to locate a serial number on the Cartier pen, yes I did purchase it new from Cartier of South Coast Plaza so it is genuine. The paperwork was dated but no serial number was filled out. Do Cartier pens use serial numbers? If so does anyone know the location on a Santos? Ay help would be appreciated.

On the Santos De Cartier, the serial number is right above the base of the clip. Or at least It should be. It is very faint you will need a loupe to see it.

Thanks for reply when I get home I will get the loupe out and try to locate it at the base of the clip.

Here is a photo, on my pen. The pen has been beaten to hell but still my fav. Even had a professor steal it in med school. GOT IT BACK FROM THAT SLEEZY MOFO!
