That Breguet always looked like a smiley face to me. Go with the VC

not sure about the overall look but i love the detail of the Bruguet.
the VC is too unconventional for me, couldn't get past it. |

At the same price range I think the Breguet is better bang for buck. Still I prefer the VC.

I cannot give advise since I'm not a huge fan of either. Not quite what you asked for but I'd recommend saving some money and go with the AP Gstaad chrono - highly underrated IMO - or ALS

I have a lot of admiration for Breguet and the Réveil Du Tsar is quite a masterpiece but I must say I still prefer the Vacheron 1921. It's a simple looking watch with just the good touch of originality to make it look great.
I tried that watch at an AD last Summer, it looked fantastic.

I personally would go for the Breguet. But the VC is nice as well.
Might be a stupid question, but reading the time on the VC, do you do that in the conventional way, or you have to flip it over to see it with the numerals upright?

Funny I was close to picking up the Reveil du Tsar but passed when I tried it on.
I'd take the 1921 any day over the Alarm. So much history with VC. Sent from my 16M |
