My ongoing Pam journey....

A few years ago got the 112....then dropped it on the floor when it was 2 weeks old, spend $1.4k to get the little dent on the crown guard fixed from Panerai.....few months later took it back to AD and got the 312.
The 312 I wore only 10 days out of the last 1.6 years....it was just not a comfortable watch on my wrist , so tomorrow the 233 will land at my home...lets see how it works out....

Regards.

From what people say, the 233 wears better than the 312, so, enjoy! It's a great piece.

Good luck with your incoming 233 - I appreciate you not giving up on Panerai

p.s. $1.4k... for what, a crown guard replacement? Really? Man, that's obscene...

Panerai wanted to do a full service + replacement of the crown guard =$1.4K
Since the watch fell, they mandated the service etc it to keep the watch under warranty. It took 4 months, which is what really irked me!

Regards.

Trust the 233 arrives safely.

Then strap that big boy to your wrist, take some pics, post 'em here and DON'T take the watch off, okay ;-)
Well if you do, make sure you're on carpet or a rug.

Wear it well.

Cheers

Thanks for the encouragement. I have never even seen the 233 in real, much less tried it on, but I trust your judgement.
Will update you tomorrow. Right now the 1 week old DSSD stays on the wrist.

Regards.

I did compared the 233 and 312 as well. I find the 233 more comfortable as the 312 sits very high on the wrist, not to my liking..

The 233 is here and on the wrist. As always your guidance was right. This watch is very comfortable and wears much smaller than the 312. :)

Regards.

Cheers! Wear it in good health!

The 233 is a good choice. The fang personally gets to me though.

Looking good & glad to hear you're happy with the way it wears

Were you able to hold on to the DSSD too? I hope so, it's also a killer watch

Oh yes. The DSSD is now 2 weeks old and going nowhere but my wrist or the safe. It's sitting with its other brothers in the safe for now.

Regards.

Congrats on the 233. Might pick one up myself. As for the DSSD, it's a shame for a 2 week old watch to be in the safe. You can always wear it on the other wrist..assuming you don't already have a piece there!

Big congrats, you have done well.
JUST BE CAREFUL OK!

I have a friend and he has wrecked three fountain pens he got as replacements- something always went wrong, dropped on floor, put in rubbish bin by accident....he feels cursed.
So be careful please.

The 233 is still the right choice even after the immediate honeymoon is over!
Fantastic functional wearable Panerai for sure. Evenings on OEM croc and days on OEM rubber. Awesome watch.

Wearing the DSSD now, the 233 is in the safe. Never buy 2 new watches a week apart as its annoying when each one screams to be worn!!

Regards.
