116610V aka Sub LVC aka Hulk...
I remember a member once mentioned how many 116610V Were Being made a year, also he mentioned most of them would stay in europe... Anyone remember the thread link or the numbers made and how many were staying in Euro and how many were being shipped over the world?
Thanks! |

The manager of my AD insisted that the LV C is a limited edition , i tried to point out that he might be talking about the SS Kermit one but he insisted that the LV C is limited edition since the mother company only supply them 2 or 1 pieces of the LV C every time they order, while they supply 60pieces of most of the other models. I think it might be just a marketing thing :)

Rolex has never made any claim that the LV C is a limitted edition. It is just ones perception whether or not it is a limited edition or production model. Only time will tell how long Rolex plans to produce this model for. Anyone making claims that this model is a limited edition is purely speculating.

There seem to be fewer than the regular LN SubC but I'd hardly consider it a limited edition.

No, I dont think anyone claims or thinks it is a LE piece. But I remember a someone that had some connection threw out a number that the production line pumped out a year, and it was no where near the numbers of the LN. It was like a half or less. Just because people are very partial to the color. Think it had to do with production of the color of the dial... That is like a pain in the butt to make it or something of that nature. Cant remember. It could be BS. But it is a fact that theres aLOT fewer of them out there then the LN

Less LV's than LN's, yes. LE, no, and what ever number was thrown out by a member you are referring to, would have been a guess at best!
No-one other than Rolex would have those numbers, and that info will never be released!

Yeah I also heard chatter that its rare and hard to get with long waiting lists etc.. but there seems to be plenty on ebay under msrp as long as you have the cash.
