Explorer 2 Caliber Question

Hi Everybody!

Im a new guy in this area with some knowledge of vintage watches. First I want to say a big hello to all! Ive subscribed to TNF to learn a few things buy sell maybe.. get hooked on new and interesting thing about our passion for vintage and new Rolexe's!

MY question is: I have a 1991 N serial White Dial Explorer2. It has a 3135 caliber movement.. This has bugged me from when I first found this out..
Most explorers from this are have 3185/86 movements but I haven't seen
a 3135 before.. can anyone help me with this? My watch keeps deadly razor sharp accurate time.. the hands are stacked in the right manner (Hour/GMT/minute/second) Im affraid I might have a franken-watch ..

Hope I can get some answers form some knowledgeable people

Thank you in advance!
