Icon5 Proper Bracelet for 5500 Air King Serial 2094XXX

Hello,

Does anyone know the proper bracelet # and end link # for an Air King 5500 perpetual? The serial is 2094XXX, which dates it to ~1966/67 if the chart I looked at was correct. The face is dark grey and is so clean and elegant I want the proper bracelet to go with it.

My father originally had it with a leather strap (long gone). The replacement metal band is nice and lightweight, but it keeps popping off, and I wear it on the loose end. I understand the proper Rolex bands are flexible enough to keep from popping every time I bend my wrist, is this true?

Thanks!

Not sure on the bracelet. As far as the watch popping off the bracelet, what kind of spring bars are you using?

The replacement bracelet doesn't pop off at the springs, which have a traditional spring bar going through a wide triangular bar end link that is also sprung. It pops at the clasp, so at least the watch stays on my hand, but it is annoying.

I like the look of the replacement in a way, and I have concerns about the weight of authentic Rolex band (I don't like excessively heavy or large watches on my wrist), but the popping off and a few other comfort issues make me want to pair this watch with its original bracelet.

Thanks!

The proper band is either a 19mm rivet bracelet ,7835 folded oyster or the current service replacement 78350 oyster bracelet. I have all in stock if i can help you let me know.

Completely agree.

I'd get both if possible. The 78350 on mine is rock solid but the 7835 is vintage cool
