I found a waiting list longer than the Daytona's
I'm waiting for a Daytona, but yesterday decided I would add myself to the list for a Patek Philippe 5712/1A, to my suprise the AD was happy to add me to the list, however, I have to wait 11 years

I don't really get it with the Nautilus and all these claims about waiting lists.
They produce the watches quite consistently, like the AD I know in Singapore gets a shipment once every 6 weeks or so. I've had 3 phone calls last year asking about whether I'd like to purchase one. I might give in yet.... Also, there's a black face Daytona sitting in my ADs safe, and has been for the last 3 months. Any takers? |

Its still a beautiful Patek Philippe but 11 years?! I think I'd go for the SS Daytona instead.

I have to admit, I am a PP fan, BUT that one does nothing for me.

Agreed. I'm a huge Patek fan, but the Nautilus is just not my idea of their best work. Whatever floats your boat, tho....

11 years? I hope you have the money at the time you get the call. Regardless, it seems like a whole lifetime away practically. Good luck.

The waiting list must be due to Patek ordering/buying all their own watches themselves just like they do at the auctions. I had a Nautilus with Power Reserve and I wanted to like that watch so much but I really couldn't see how even a fraction of its price could be justified.

Just today i bought from the grey dealer. There are plenty of 5712 available. This is less than 11 years, just 6 years passed from the original post.
