Older GMT questions.
Hello, Is the Bezel the same part on the 1675 as on a 16750? Would they be interchangeable? Also is the watch case the same on both? I am asking aout the metal bezal, they one I have on the 1675 is old (1967) and has been polished and worn almost smooth. Thanks.

Yes. Inserts for the 1675/16750 are interchangeable. You can use RED/BLUE or BLACK. Inserts for newer 16760s/16710 won't work due to a sizing difference.

I am asking about the metal bezel, Not the inserts. Do you think I could get a new one from RSC? Or would the part be to old to have in stock?

I should add though, the dials and hand stack are different between the two references.

Thanks, looks like I will ask for a new bezel when I get it serviced soon. This is great news, now I can put the new bezel on the 16750 and move the 16750 older bezel to the 1675. The 1675 sits in the safe a lot, it was my Dad's watch so I don't wear it much, like a back-up for when the 16750 heads in for service.
