Hello from the ATX

Hello from Austin, Texas.

New to Rolex. I currently have a Corum Bubble automatic in a rare burgundy face. But it's not an everyday watch. I'm in love with the new SubC no-date, and may have to off a few of my prescious Nikon primes to do it (along with the Corum), but it will definitely be a trade up.

Thanks for this forum. It has provided a few days of endless lusting.

Where in Austin should I buy? They've been very patient with me at Ben Bridge, but it's a mall chain.

If you must buy from an AD in Austin I'd stop by Russell Korman. However there are some Great sellers on the forum here who will save you a substantial amount of money for a New In Box 114060

Forget local AD's, buy here, save taxes and get a great price for the same watch. Do some hunting here and you'll figure it out:

Welcome--ATX here as well.

Ben Bridge in The Domain is where I take my watch to get its annual pressure test, they do it while I wait and it's usually ready to go way before I am done looking through their display cases.

I won't go to the other AD in Austin, I went there once to get a 2 year old Sub pressure tested, they refused to do it unless I paid them to replace all the seals first.

TRF is by far the best place to look for your next watch, there are a lot of great sellers on here that you can't go wrong with.

Welcome. Also in Austin here. Use the local AD's to see and try but like others have said, I would use the trusted dealers here 100X over.

Okay total newbie questions coming up:

If I buy from a trusted seller here, what am I buying? Returns? Refurbs? grey market?

What does this do to my warranty? Does Rolex recognize the sale or my ownership?

Legit question. Rolex warranty is transferable and many offer their own in store as well. I would be on the lookout for what you are after and maybe even reach out to one of them to see what they have. They have the ability to source both brand new (BNIB), like new (LNIB) or preowned but mint. Of course model and price varies due to many factors. We have some of the best online sellers around that use this site. If you stick with one of them you should be golden. If you want only new then shop the AD's against each other. In most cases they are willing to deal, especially if they know you are informed about what you are after.
