Here's mine. I bought it new in 1997 and have worn it every day since. A much loved, much used timepiece. I'm only just now considering buying a Rolex to supplement this watch.

I fell in love with the speedy pro after a former acquaintance showed me his "pre-launch" model which had been given to him by his dad who had found it in a "junk" store.

So my watch here - a standard issue from 1997....would this be a 3650 by chance - what's the story?

Well, the LE is certainly beautiful.

I regret selling my Broad Arrow and the hesalite-sapphire sandwich that I had a few years ago, but these Pro and BA Speedys are just too large for me.

I saw this one in a jewelers here in Vancouver the other day. I agree with you Larry, it really is beautiful, I have always had a thing for the seamonster logo, I have a couple of old seamasters with it on the case back.
This is the nicest speedy in production IMHO!
