Just got my Father's Steel "Military" Rolex restored. It was given to him by hos parents on his 21st birthday in June of 1943. It's style 3139, caliber 710. It was very cruddy and not working. Sent it to Bob Ridley down in TX for restoration, and I am amazed at what he did. It's beautiful, and obviously very meaningful to me personally.

My fathers watch, a 1941 Technos, he wore during the war, 1941-1949, was stolen from our house back in 1996.

Thanks guys. I'm kind of inordinately happy about the whole thing. I do not have any before pictures...should have thought about that!
