Ahh Rolex, how I missed you!
After trading away my Kermit a few years ago, I have been longing to get back into a Rolex, and found myself lusting after several models. I ended up picking up this beauty, and am back in love with the brand that started my watch obsession.
I had a choice between the SD4K and a BLNR that was in stock at my AD and after much debate, I made my selection. I was really torn, as I already have a black diver, but just could not pass up the classic feel and perfect fit, with the slim lugs and fully brushed bracelet. I also LOVE the cyclopsless (its gotta be a word, if not, it should be) date! While I was debating in the store, I found myself thinking "If I buy the BLNR I can flip it later for....." which confirmed to me it was not what I was really drawn to, but would have been a "value" purchase done only because it is a harder to find piece. Been a week, and no regrets, except that my Pano-Reserve and Omega Spectre are not getting wrist time!! |

Great looking watch; I love SDs and would love more likely get an Al inserted one as I have pretty small wrists.
