Hi Guys
Just got a vintage Omega Constellation 1969. The date is not working would like to know why. The date changes when I pull out the winder to the first position and set the date but when the watch is ticking and goes past 12 o'clock the date will not change please advice Thanks Rob |

Probably need to send to Omega or a professional watchmaker. Going to be difficult to diagnose online.

Problem with date change mechanism. Possibly the date jumper or the date jumper spring. Recommend an independent watchmaker who has worked his way around vintage Omegas, rather than an official Omega service centre, which will probably want to send the watch to Bienne for a very expensive and not necessarily sympathetic refurbishment..

Hopefully you're able to have this fixed soon. Agree with the post above, maybe a local watchmaker can so you'll possibly have it back sooner vs going though Omega. Oh yeah, chances are it'll also cost a lot less this way. Best of luck to you
