I would get the LV as it is so different. I also own Submariner and they make for great pair!

I have both and I love switching up with the color difference. Sub date is my favorite watch and switching between the two allows for a change. Some days I feel like being basic and some days I like to shine with the LVc

Pick it up...if after a while you find that you don't like it, you won't have a problem selling/trading for something else later.

Very different looks even though they’re both subs. Definitely worth buying!

Would a tt sub be better in value or less redundantcy?

or for the 9k is there a better value watch to purchase?

A the LN you only other watch? While you surely could own the LN and the LV together comes, as you only two I think you could opt for some additional diversification. Perhaps a GMT, a DJ, or an Explorer I or II?

The LVc is a must have if you can grab it. Flip your SubC Date for a ND.

Get it. It is an amazing reference and can most definitely co-exist with other Sub variants.

Next to the LN, the TT LB differentiates itself more than the LV next to the LN (just count the differences between them). If that helps in your decision. But you should stick to what you like best.

I don't think there are too many watches that are going to give you a better bang for the buck than an LV-c @ MSRP.

That said, I love the bluesy and would probably flip the LN for it. That way you get not one, but two amazing dials.

If yours was a Submariner, I would say, yes; however, I think two Submariner Date models of the same generation may be redundant.

I'd feel exactly the same as you.

However, if the hulk is something that is speaking to you, do it.

Plus, it doesn't hurt that the hulk isn't an easy piece to come by.

Why would same generation date be anymore redundant than without date?
