New Arrival - Cleaning and link advice please
Hey all,
rsz_1rsz_120180422_191230.jpg Just got my new DJ36 bi metal with a black dial. I would like to know, what do you use to clean it, i want to keep it looking fresh as often. And 2nd, does anyone else have the problem of 1 link too big and take 1 off and its too tight. When it's loose it hangs just below my wrist bone and almost leans to one side, when i took a link out, it hardly moved and was too tight. I think loose is defo better and is more visible when wearing suits and shirts. |

loose is better. as for cleaning, soap and warm water, or simply shower with it on

Here a couple of approaches are mentioned:
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...ht=clean+rolex Some also recommend using a soft toothbrush. Congratulations on the DJ!!! I like my watches a bit loose as well. Tighter supposedly reduces wear on the bracelets however. |

Looks great on you. Could you post a few more pictures? TT looks so much better than a SS DJ.

That is so beautiful. Just shower with it and wipe it off. That way it gets cleaned all the time.
It can’t be too tight. That will just bug you forever and eventually hurt. |

I use wristclean. Not terribly expensive and it really makes my watch shine.

Gorgeous watch! Congrats!
As far as cleaning goes, warm, mild soapy water and you are all set. I like to use a soft toothbrush to get in all the tight areas, works like a charm! I wear my watches tight, A) out of preference and B) because it reduces wear, though likely it's fairly insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Wear it as you prefer! |

The standard link is 8mm and the 1.25 links are 10mm. I removed 3 links from my Jubilee and replaced with 2 1.25 links to get the perfect fit.
