It's a wonderful underrated watch !

A friend of mine owns the SS model and I never get tired of admiring it !

I don’t have the YM2 but the older five digits YM1 is my favorite. It looks different from normal sub and extremely comfortable to wear too especially with jubilee bracelet :)

Great watch for sure at least for me.

I used to race sailboats, small ones, and the article brings back exciting memories of the racing starts. What I didn’t see in the article was the penalty for crossing the starting line before the horn. In my races, if you crossed early, you got a double toot on the horn. You then had to sail back behind the starting line and then recross it as if you were starting the race anew. This penalty cost lots of time and, effectively, put you out of any possibility of winning. So, a good racing watch was a big help.

Good article. Much like F1 races, many times the start determines the finish. Very important to get it perfect.
