216570 Polar owners, after how many weeks do you get bored of this watch and after how long do you fell back in love? I can't wear this reference longer than 2 weeks but when i putt it away and i strap it on after 2 weeks of wearing my sub i feel happy as a CHILD that find his first playboy magazine. How do you feel about this? Is this reference the holy-grail of modern steel references or is it just me? I read a lot about ''bezel prone to scratching'' i havent found 1 single scratch on this watch yet and it doesnt feel prone to scratches at all..
I was about to trade my sub and my polar both for a sd43 but Lucky me i didnt do this as it made me afraid of my own ''thoughts'' it is a beautifull watch and although not the most appreciated reference under those fashion guys it is maybe THE watch for everyone that actually is into watches… Now i see that the popularity of this watch is growing since some time, and it absolutely deserves more fans however maybe the charm of this watch is that only passionated watchfreaks and indeed the professionals where the watch is made for wears one.. All on all, i am near sure now that i won't trade it in the future, also the price on this reference is in the lift so dumb choose anyway would be a loss to get one ''back''

I love mine. I wear it all the time to work. I don’t think I would get bored with it at all. I do have a subc tt 116613 and my AP roo 26470or that I wear on the weekends. My explorer II is my beater watch.

I’ve had mine for 5+ years and haven’t gotten bored, but I don’t need a large rotating bezel for entertainment.

Same with this guy above. I bought it for my work watch. It is the watch I am least bothered if it gets a big ding. I love it the only reason I’m not wearing it now is my other daily my datejust 41 is getting wrist time right now since it’s new. I don’t see myself getting bored of it. I think it is a great watch. Great wrist presence easy to read. I have said before strangely enough it gets more comments than any other watch I have owned. Only reason I can thin is because it’s so large , white face and the orange maybe who knows ? I have even caught myself wearing my explorer out at night also.

yachtmasters gmt masters submariners dj's dd seadwellers you name it... But i only saw 1 216570 i believe in the wild and it was at a dude in the airport in a suit, i immediatly noticed it and it looked extremely cool...…….. The other Rolex wearing types are just ''one of a lot''

It just seems that it is a real hobby not just a nice watch for me... I really like it)))

It's a winner. More than most watches, Polar owners seem to develop a personal attachment. Sometimes they get traded but seems like there is almost always a return to the reference eventually...

I never got bored of mine wearing it every day for about 2 years. I just loved it more and more. It's in a rotation now but I still love it when I strap it on.

I have had mine since December and have worn it almost non stop, I sold a white faced Daytona which I wore maybe 20 times in 10 years because it was just too shiny and easy to scratch.
Very comfortable and easy to read, I really like it

There is something about the Polar dial and the orange hand that really works for me. I like the 42 mm case and the easy link system keeps me happy in the summer when my wrist swells. I think it could be a one and only for me from Rolex. I can wear it with a suit or to the pool. I can not say enough good things about it.

I love mine as well, especially looking at the dial. The only thing for me, I wish it was 40mm instead of 42. I can wear it, but my gmt is more comfortable to me because of the size. I know 2mm isn’t that big of a deal, but it feels like it on my wrist compared to the gmt. But I have it and I’ll never get rid of it.

I just got a 216570, the second time I've owned one. It works for me now as my only Rolex. Five years ago I had a 14060 and 16710 and the 42mm ExpII looked "off" to me - the proportions were all wrong and the hands were too fat...but I haven't owned a Rolex in over a year now and as my only one the proportions seem fine to me.

I have to say it is about the most legible watch I've owned, and it is really much less shiny than most modern Rolexes. I don't mind polished surfaces, but I think brushed steel wears scratches and scuffs better.

My newest watch is a white milgauss. Bought it as a commemorative piece. Was between a brand new milgauss or pre owned ExpII mint. I wanted to buy brand new and I was able to buy an explorer II brand new for the same price (within my budget) as the milgauss I would have. Will probably add the exp II at one point. Love it!

Love the look of the Polar EXP II...I've had two and ended up selling them both though. I think it's because of the fixed bezel. I need something to "play" with on my watches...bezel, pushers, etc.
