All fantastic pieces Larry. I thought the 6263 might have stuck around...

Usually when I let them go, I’m ready. So many watches so little time. Thanks for the comments.

Those are wonderful pieces Larry and I’m sure you enjoyed them immensely while they were yours. I’m reaching the point where I might start to consolidate my collection.

Thanks my friend. I still have 7 or 8 nice watches which is the sweet spot for me. I have repurchased a 16750 which is probably my number 1.

Larry, you've got good taste, my friend. Great references for any collection.

Wow, amazing pieces, but if it's time, it's time. I get sick when I think about the ones I let go ... and for relative pennies compared to today's market.

So, Larry, what are you wearing nowadays?

This somewhat inspires me that "it's ok" to let go sometimes. Thanks for sharing OP, you've had some great pieces for sure.

Hey Aaron, my collection is much more conservative value wise. I approximated the value of the watches in the pic at about 175K. I never intended to have that sort of money tied up in watches, but as it turned out, it wasn’t a bad place to have some money. I experimented with a GSOTM and a YMIII but let those go rather quickly. I would love to have a gilt sub but I think most of the prices are flat unrealistic for vintage Rolex at the present. It’s taking a lot of the fun out of it for me. I did buy a 16750 which I have always wanted for the quickset. I paid almost 4 times what I bought my 1675 for 10 years ago. If there is another downturn like then maybe I’ll get back into it again. The 6263 was kind of my grail and it was lovely. It was a little small to be honest ( my sweet spot is 40mm). I have a few modern and vintage. Here’s some pics.

Still a great lineup! I think the 16600 is under-rated, and I much prefer it over any of the new SDs. Very nice 16750 and Navi for your vintage fix!

I hear you on the 6263. I used to have a black version that I sold 5 years ago because I thought it was too small. But I later picked up the silver version and love it. It's like a little jewel on the wrist.

Well done on letting go, which is something a lot of us have a problem with.

I've found it's easier to release a piece if I'm selling to finance something better - the 1969 Tudor Sub was dispensible only in part exchange for the Milgauss 1019.

Anyway, congrats on a fantastic past and current collection.
