Any SF Bay Area AD that takes a waitlist?
Looking for a 116610LN. I cannot find an AD in the city that will put me on a waitlist. Anyone have a recommendation? As far south as San Jose works for me.
Fine waiting for 1+ years since I’m going to make other purchases etc. |

Call Julianna’s Fine Jewelry
+1 (415) 924-9711 You can likely get on their list, but you have to go visit their store and speak to them. 1618 Redwood Hwy Corte Madera, CA 94925 United States Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would also suggest that you try Bhindi Jewelers. IIRC, they do take names on the list. They are at:

Contact a Trusted Seller here on TRF and have the watch the morning after funds clear. Pick new or pre-owned.

If you're willing to drive an extra hour , Fourtané @ Carmel By the Sea, one of the best AD's I have dealt with.

I agree with Julianna’s Fine Jewelry in Corte Madera. I recently bought my BLNR from Bill and he was great to work with plus a nice guy. Like most jewelers they want long term customers and not people that are simply looking to purchase a watch anywhere.
Well worth the drive from anywhere in the Bay Area plus stopping by once in awhile in person helps. I hope to make my future second watch purchase from them. |

What’s the point? If you are an unknown quantity to the SF AD, you’ll never get a hot piece based on being on a list. The watch will got to a “friend” of the AD or a friend of a friend of the AD. |

My recommendation would be to go in to the AD and ask to be placed on the list. If you’re just calling and asking, you’re more likely to be brushed off. Even if they put you on a list via phone call, they won’t remember you when they’re reviewing their list of who to call. In person visits and occasionally popping in to remind them of your continued interest will go a long way. I think with a little work, you shouldn’t have that difficult of a time getting a sub date.
