25th January Walk...
The light was reasonable so I grabbed my camera and left the house..
The gate to the graveyard of our village.. A long time ago this was a railroad from Deventer to Ommen, in 1936 they closed the track because due to economics. Trucks where a lot cheaper and faster. The end of the old railroad track... You can still see it was a train station.. My grandmother (from my fathers side) lived here when she was a little girl. Her father worked for the local railroad company. Good to see something green after those cold white weeks of snow and frost.. And the end of the winter is almost there.. But for mow it's still cold and wet.. This small castle was build before 1344.. Almost home...

Beautiful photos of a very nice area. Did you do something similar last year? Some of those scenes look familiar.
