My Milgauss is weirdly accurate.

It seemed very accurate, so I decided to test it. Over the course of almost 20 days, it’s gained less than a second. Never owned a watch so accurate.

Yes. Taking a second every other day to track is such a time sink.

Mine too. It's also the smoothest winder of all of mine, its seems the 3131 is one great movement.

Maybe the antimagnetic cage and all is keeping it more accurate.

To each his own. I’m sure we all have spent many hours on this or some other mundane activities.

Rolex watches have been generally very accurate in my experience.

Agree, the new movements are very accurate and can be nearly spot on with simple regulation.

Here is my 2019 Exp 2 from a test run recently.
Nearly 25 days and +0.3 seconds off reference.

Does that mean he spends his life in an anti magnetic cage? Is that really worth it?

Same here, I work around magnets all day and the thing is rock solid. Average accuracy per day is always better than 0.5s.

Dupe...

Nothing special about the cal 3131 it was just a cal 3130 with the parachrom hairspring, which now all movements have. And its how the movement has been regulated that matches the owners wearing habits thats where accuracy comes from.Plus the fact that none of these so called timing apps are 100% accurate like a proper quartz timing machine.

Yes, well adjusted 313x Rolex movement can be very accurate (especially if adjusted to your wearing habits).

After that whether you get around +-1.x seconds/day or less than that over a certain period of time has more to do with luck of how your wearing habits (e.g. how many hours a day the watch is resting and in what position) and how regular you are with those habits and your activity.
