Giving my AD a visit

So my AD contacted this weekend offering me a Tudor BB58 and a Tudor GMT on a leather strap. Shall see during lunch which one I should go for. I'm still on my honeymoon stage with my batman/batgirl. I will be eating ramen noodles for the rest of the year

Great call, pulled trigger on the GMT, passed on the BB58 Blue Bay. Curious to see what you end up deciding on

Buying a Tudor isn't worth eating ramen for a year.

Own a Batman; bought a Tudor BB GMT a few months later as a Pepsi placeholder until I acquire the Rolex equivalent. But, the Tudor GMT is so spectacular may quit looking for the Rolex.

Would you eat ramen for a year just to buy a Tudor?

No sir. It's just a joke. However, buying two watches in a short period of time can put a dent on your pocket.

Ended up getting the GMT on a bracelet. The BB58 looks too small. I use my Omega Speedmaster as a reference. Now, I think I'm done for this year unless they call me for the pepsi or the explorer I. The angle how the picture was taken looks off but fits me well. What do you guys think?

I like the bezel colors on that watch more than the Rolex version.

Seems you have a thing for GMT watches. The Tudor you can easily alternate the bracelet for straps. Cool addition.

The Siena leather strap makes this watch so special and a bit out of ordinary. I couldn’t let go when I saw it, instead I let go the BLRO I was collecting.

Question for you, OP, and this thread. I have a 2017 Batman. Do you set the Tudor the same way? Jumping hour hand? And also using the jumping hour hand to set the date?

Congrats! Looks great. You made the right choice. It's great that they had both to compare. Where in Maryland is your AD?

Congratulations. I really like the Tudor GMT and wear it on the OEM leather strap most of the time but it looks great on the bracelet and NATO. I also own a Rolex BLRO and can say that they wear completely different and in my collection there is room for both.

I've had the opportunity to try each on, and I went with the GMT. The 58 was just...underwhelming, to be honest. But, in the end, it's what sings to you that matters.

Good humor is lost on some people.

Nice pick up, i've had my eye on a Tudor for a little while too, like you I find the 39mm a little too small for my style & prefer the 41mm.

As has already been said, they are so versatile as the strap options are dope (Bracelet, leather, NATO and bund). It's like having 4 different watches.

It's a cooler piece than your BLNR imo. Hope you like noodles, totally worth it.

Depends what Ramen your talking about.

Ramen is one of my favourite foods the ones from the authentic Japanese restraurants. Tonkotsu Broth Spicy Ramen with extra Charsu is the BEST!!!

If your talking 2min noodle Ramen well eating that for a year aint worth any watch. LOL
