Runners - do you wear your Rolex when running?
I wear my Timex Ironman when running, but it occurs to me that some may wear their Sub while running. It has been used by special forces units around the world for decades. I suppose it may be uncomfortable for some, or you may be afraid that you’d trip and fall and scratch it in some way; or, perhaps get robbed if you live in a bad area.
Does anyone wear their Sub while running? Thanks. |

I'd seriously move... No offence... But if you're likely to get robed of your watch running I'd be on a real estate forum not here worrying what I was wearing while exercising.
Same if I was likely to fall running.. I'd probably swim instead. In which case, a sub should cover me... Just pretend I was diving. |

Definitely not. As much as I love my Rolex, it stays home so I can stay on pace with my Garmin.

Garmin for sure. Rolex hasn’t yet figured out how to measure pace and distance on a mechanical watch.

Apps watch for me. Far more useful than a Rolex.
Tyson fury wore his PM sub whilst training for the last wilder fight though. |

I can't wear my Rolex for that purpose.
I believe the Apple watch and G Shock should serve that purpose. |

I dont wear any Rolex (or any other fine timepiece) while working out.
I switch to my Apple Watch Series 5 for the gym or outdoor runs. |

I’ve always just run in my Timex, it seems like the better tool for the job.

Nope, Casio or Garmin. I like something light, with heart rate and the ability to set multiple goals while running.

If I’m going to wear a Rolex for running, I would go for Daytona.
It’s a chronograph, at least easier to keep track of the lap time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Garmin fenix 3 HR is my weapon of choice when running. I will occasionally wear a Daytona while running but I prefer to wear just one watch on one wrist. If I wear both I've got one on each wrist. I usually swim a mile and a half per day but with Covid I've had to switch back to running. I wear the Garmin while swimming as well. I have a Vivosmart 4 as well but it just doesn't do as good a job (due to interface issues) as the fenix. I wear the Vivosmart the rest of the time. I like the HR data that the Garmins generate as well as the distance tracking. I forgot to mention that the Garmins auto track my results, too.

Running for recreation - wear no watch.
Escape the artificial bonds of time - focus on the journey and lift yourself to endorphin-fueled pure elation. Plus, you get no funny tan lines... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I wear my Datejust when I run, which is about twice a week. Nothing too serious. I don’t wear it to time anything though, I just wear it because I wear my watch all day for all activities. |

Love my Rolex but I wear a Garmin Fenix 3 when running.
There is a Rolex face you can now download for some Garmins but thought it looked a little odd. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I always do, 2 out of 3 I can use the bezel for timing. It’s never bothered me.

Every day, and through 206 marathons. Everything from Subs to Day Dates. No problems. In marathons I have a GPS watch on my other wrist.

I wear my Rolex when running, but if I am being honest, I prefer wearing my G-Shock Metal 5000.

Not really a runner, more of a trot / slow walker. When I do I tend to switch to an Apple Watch...

Have done it on occasion, my 114200 has seen a few trail ultramarathons. They can handle it.
