Should I bring this home...

Just saw a new 5167A jumbo steel bracelet with Tiffany dial. Should I pull the trigger?

I tried that bracelet and one thing to think about is how it fits, the links are large and there isn't a 1.5 link if it's too loose or tight. It's also not easy to switch to rubber by yourself if you want to change it.

There is 1.5 link available for aquanaut bracelet.

Looks great. If it is a fair deal why not? The bracelet is great and you can buy a rubber strap and clasp and change up.

Exactly and this is what I did for my aquanaut

I bought the rubber strap and get the bracelet replaced.

I had that version (sans tiff) and sold it on. I prefer the 5711. It does have an amazing dial though. Totally under the radar watch which was a major benefit. I think the rubber version is the way to go if you want the 67, the idea of the brac is great, the execution - not so much I found.

If you are asking us, maybe not.

If it feels good on, you like it and it will get wrist time...Yes.

This wouldn't be my first Patek, although this could be my first stainless aquanaut with Tiffany dial if I decide to buy it. It wears nice, weights perfectly , simple, and sporty. However, it doesn't feel like wearing a Patek, felt more like Rolex maybe s sub or sea dweller. I guess the Tiffany logo caught my attention :)

Not to offend anyone, but I always felt like the 5167 on bracelet looks like the poor mans 5711.

I would get 5167 on rubber or not at all.

This just cracks me up, "poor mans", but many people say that about it. Not too many people wear watches that cost as much as a new car. I honestly like the 5167/1a better than the 5711 blue, but not more than the white. Your results may vary lol.

The aquanaut 5167 1A bracelet version is not cheap and just few thousand less than the 5711 1A.

You can always put the strap on the bracelet version.
But you cant put the bracelet on the strap version.

So I agree with everybody else:
If you like it
If you will wear it
If you intend to keep it
If the price is unbeatable

--> go for it!

And consider: if you think you will or at some point would like to wear a bracelet on your 5167 then you best get it now. You can put a strap on versions sold originally with bracelet, but you can not put a bracelet on versions originally sold with strap only.
