Can’t be a price increase on 1st September according to most members on here because Paul Thorpe is predicting one

Correct. If he's saying it, it ain't happening.

At some point he will land randomly on the stopped clock twice daily square, this having a higher probability than anything he says being the true.

It's rare to see the arrogant, overinflated nobodies get force fed humble pie on these forums by a 60+ year old with a GoPro. Thorpe unknowingly made this more fun for me than watching the value of my collection shoot up!

Has Rolex ever increased their prices in the middle of the year? Usually it's always at the first of the year?

Yes in the UK in 2019. And again on 01/01/2020. This is what prompted me to go grey for my SS black Sky Dweller in December 2019. In Q1 2020 MSRP had jumped significantly compared with Q1 2019 because of two price rises in the UK in less than 12 months, and the grey market price increased accordingly.

Yes, they have, but it's not too common.

Paul Thorpe is one of those guys who throws so much at the wall hoping something will stick. He’s usually wrong.

Seems to make sense
High inflation
Prices took a dip from March so rolex wants to take back the narrative and show that the market price moves up

If Paul Thorpe is wrong we will know very soon

I am of the opinion that if he didn’t have that accent, less people would even listen to a word he says. He’s like a 60 year old dressing like a hipster.
