Bought my Dad a Batman..and now I want one!
Posted in a watch forum on FB but wanted to share here too.
********* My Dad who was a teacher and then a public school principal raised 5 kids and woke up every day at 4:30am to commute to work and often didn’t get home until well after dinner. He rarely if ever took a sick day. He worked his ass off and quite frankly didn’t have the means to purchase a nice watch but probably wouldn’t have anyway because he always put us first. Today was his 71st birthday and we chipped in and bought him his first Rolex. He was overjoyed and couldn’t believe it. I caught him staring at it in the car on the way home. 😀
