Rolex Hands
Hello RF members.
I have a hard time figuring out which watch these hands belongs to. They are missing some parts in the setup. Searched the net, different forums and found good info, but still not sure. Could you please help me out. My guessing is the left is gilt hands, no idea to which watch.Maybe 5512\5513? And the ones on the right gold hands for gmt. Thanks for your help! |

The hour hand on the left is for a sub etc (not gmt). The other two hour hands im not sure of. The sweep hands are not gmt (they look like "no date" models).

Howdy from sunny New Zealand. Always fun identifying old Rolex and Tudor hands. My best guesses as follows ... Your hour hands - the deep mounting hoop on the LHS hands suggests old no-date Sub. And yes, the colour as seen in the pic suggests gilt. Am I seeing a shallower (less deep) mounting hoop on the middle and RHS hand ? If so, they may be from a later Rolex Sub movement or could be old Tudor Sub items (reject that notion if one is indeed a gold material - old Tudors Subs are way too cool to have ever used gold hands ). Your sweep hands - the minimal mounting pin on your sweep hands suggests 15xx Sub . And I've never checked but am thinking that an old Rolex sweep (15xx movement) may fit a Tudor 390 too. A couple of pics attached that may help you identify what you have (credit to someone else for the sweep pic ). Hope they helps |

Wow, learn something new every day and that explains why I got some hands that didn't fit a couple of years ago from a well known parts dealer. Not easy always to tell the difference
