Beast has landed GMT

Long time lurker but first time poster - Always had my eye on the Rolex GMT but can't get on the list and didnt want to pay crazy prices - so ended up going on the list in December for the Tudor GMT with a local AD in the UK

The weight feels just right on the wrist and i love how the bezel colours are much deeper and richer than the rolex.

Huh??? Not sure I've ever heard that description before? The only minor gripe I have come across are the fake rivets but the bracelet itself is fantastic.

The rivets are so off-putting.

You're right the bracelet is nice it's just the rivets I dislike.

Ok I see. From what I hear after you own one of their rivet bracelets you barely notice they are there. I think pictures maybe exaggerate their appearance. I have the non-riveted steel bracelet on my Black Bay and it is a terrific bracelet both in looks and function.

Had the GMT for all of 3 months, returned it as the date was sticking.

While wearing this watch in rotation I'd always notice the rivets. It's a great watch but without the rivets it'd be fantastic.

People follow this notion like sheep. Have you ever owned one? I do and it’s not only comfortable, but it’s very well made and looks great. Not one person has asked me “are the rivets really necessary”!

Congratulations, where in the UK are you based? I'm in London and got the call today for the same watch buy on leather strap, turned it down in favour of waiting for the steel bracelet as I'm not a fan of the leather

Based up in Manchester
AD was David Robinson. I would wait for the steel. Absolutely beautiful

Welcome to the BB GMT club!

The rivets don’t bother me. If anything it makes it slightly different to all the other bracelets out there on various timepieces.

Try it on a navy blue nato too!
