Well myself would have to be very desperate to pay more than list for any Rolex watch.I Like the kemit, but for what it is,IMO not worth the extra cost over the normal standard Sub.Welcome to TRF both links are quite a bit over list price, but the choice is in your hands, its your money.

Just thought I'd pop in and say welcome. Sorry I can't help with sites to buy from, due to my location I have no experience of American dealers. Be patient though because I'm sure there will be someone along soon to advise.

Welcome ez! If you go to your local ad and have them put you on the list for one you should be ok,plus for the future it would be a good idea to establish a relationship with an ad for repair or discount's on future watches . Just dont expect any discount on the lv..

I just called an AD in burlingame and was told they only get a few a year and reserve them for loyal customers. I guess no luck there.

EZ, welcome to TRF!!

As for the LV, they are popping up more and more on the web from reputable dealers for good prices. I am not recommending buy from these people, but if they are lowering their prices, the dealers may be getting more so hang in there.

They have been a little hard to get but the prices are dropping and you can now find ADs that will sell them for MSRP. Just keep looking. =) maverick

Doubt it.

Most dealers treasure their supply of hard to get watches.

You will never see one...

That is what my AD here in the Desert told me. I ordered one form a dealer out of state.

Something often said here is to "establish" a relationship with a dealer. Well, to me it should be the other way around. To be told I will never see one by some fool in a jewelery store is pure crap.

When people come to me for our services, they don't have to establish anything with me, I will do anything for our clients, large and small, so for me to hear this from some dummy behind a counter, well...

Anyway, if you want the green watch, like I did, just pay the extra money and get it and enjoy it. They are very hard to find at MSRP and the dam dealers play games with them.

The thing that gets me upset with sales people is they prejudge. Here, I have this dumb kid tell me I will never see the LV, ever. I have worked for seven President's of the United States, and this person lays that on me.
After all I have done in my career I think I can track down and buy a watch.

Best of luck,

President Rolex

They're not too hard to find in Canada. I expressed some interest in them with my AD out of pure curiosity (and told her as much) and yet two months later I somehow was the first to get the call, and I have yet to purchase anything from this AD. And this was about six months after they were introduced.

I would never pay above list price for anything. Be patient and put your name in at as many ADs as you can. ADs never know what they get from Rolex until the shipment arrives at the start of each month. So it's generally a waiting game, unless someone has one in stock with no 'dibs' on it.
