Hi and welcome to TRF. I have, at the moment, two subs, 5513 and a 14060. My grail hopefully on its way soon.....

Like Steve I think maybe its not good to discuss pricing of members watches. What sub/watch do you have????

Thanks for the welcome mcjp6.
I agree but it's too late now. I can't edit the main question. And I apologize if I offend anyone by my price question.
I'm looking into getting my first SUB later this year :)

check the pre-owned subs for sale on TRF...you'll get an idea of pricing. As for new ones...go into your local Rolex shop & ask for today's price.
I paid a lot more for my recent sub than I did for a sub I bought in 1972.

Had a 16610, but sold it.. Tudor Sub now, going to be getting another Sub as soon as funds allow. Think I am going to start going for just dive watches in the future, as love the size of them, the Omega I really like. (not as much as the Tudor though.. LOL)

T serial Black 16613 with updated blue luminova hands and dial

(and I'm so far into trades, swaps, mods and deals that I have no idea what I have in watches anymore)

2 Subs as per my list below.

The D-series was a gift from a TRF member.......and that goes down to my grandson.

The new V-series, I paid just over US$5K for it.

You might be able to buff out those scratches with a Cape Cod cloth, but don't polish it too often or the case will suffer and that could compromise water tightness!

By the look of all that froth around the case, Otto, I would say that the crown wasn't screwed down properly!
