Sub-c Spring Bars
Anyone who owns a Sub-C (either 116610 or 114060) and also owns a caliper; I'm trying to find out the diameter of the spring-bar ends on this model.
I plan to buy some shoulder-less bars as I only wear mine on NATO, but want to be sure of exact stock size. Obviously I know they are 20mm width, but I need the tip diameter. Older lug-hole Rolexes used 1.2 diameter ends. I assumed the Tudor Pelagos would too, but found it used 1.0mm tips. I want to put in bars exact same as stock, so there will be no wiggle. Thanks in advance! Hoppy |

For a no lug hole case like the 116610/114060, I'd advise against using a shoulder-less springbar. You will not be able to remove them, other than to cut them off as you'll have no way to depress the pin once seated in the case....

I realize that, I do that with other pieces too. Snipping them out is no big deal. In this case I will only be wearing NATO straps anyway. |

Fairly positive that they are 0.9mm, same as the 5-digit no-holes case.

Yes ,for 114060 and 116610. The rolex part number for the correct springbars is 23-40240 , I measured from new springbars in box . But obviously you don't want those as they come with the shoulder.
