Omega Pictograms
When you get yourself a modern Omega, It comes with some nice accessories. A warranty card, A Chronometer card if a Chronometer, and a Pictogram card.
There is a lot of good information on the Pictogram card.. Here are a couple from a Seamaster and a Speedmaster: Across the top on the Speedy card it shows: 1. Sapphire Crystal 2. Anti-reflective coating inside only (a AA in a circle would indicate coating inside and out) 3. Manual wind 4. Waterproof to 50 meters 5. Tachymeter equipped. On the Seamaster Card: 1. Self winding 2. Sapphire crystal 3. Screw-in Crown 4. Anti-reflective coating, inside only 5. Waterproof to 300 meters 6. Helium release Valve 7. COSC Certified. and that last little pictogram by the Omega is the type of box. A #3 box for the SMP and (unshown) a SP (special limited edition) box for the Speedy Learn as much as you can about the time-piece you strap on..

When did they start putting those in with Omega watches?

At LEAST 7 years ago.
I bought my Seamaster Professional Titanium in 2000 and it had the pictograms. Also, the big number in the box right by the Omega logo indicates the warranty length. 3 indicates 3 years warranty, 1 indicates 1 year warranty etc.

Co-axial are supposed to have three year. Any other ideas? Also, what is the weird picto circled? I notice too that mine does not have the COSC logo even though it is a COSC watch. Very confusing

I bought my SMP in May, 2000. It's serial number is 60194XXX. The warranty card is cream, not red, and is 1-year; there is no Pictogram card. It must predate yours from a 2000 purchase. However, based on this thread, I DID notice something I overlooked before. On the cream hangtag with the price, the reverse has the model, serial number, caliber, and the symbols that are shown on your card, including the rotor, sapphire crystal, screw-in crown, AR coating, 300m and Helium Valve! Do the watches with the Pictogram cards also have this on the tags?

That's cool It seems Omega gives you more than than Rolex in the way of bits. The card is a good example. It tells you about your watch.
Also you can get the chrono certificate for your watch I think My Hamilton came with more than My Rolex

There is a pictogram legend inside your massive Omega Owner's Manual. That should tell you what each symbol signifies
Maybe they changed the warranty period to 6 days Good Luck Chris
