If you could buy the Rolex GMT Pepsi Jubilee or the Rolex Batman today from your AD at retail price, which one would you buy and why?

Great question...if the Pepsi came with an oyster bracelet I’d get that. I’m not a jubilee fan, too flashy for my taste. With the current conditions I’d go BLNR.

The SS BLRO in a heartbeat. It’s the best modern SS Rolex, IMHO. The jubilee bracelet isn’t for everyone (in fact, it’s quite polarizing!), but for me, and as one who loves the Oyster bracelet, I would choose the SS BLRO and its jubilee without question.

As an owner of both I can tell you for me there is simply no comparison. The BLRO blows the BLNR away IMHO! The jubilee is amazing and makes it so special. I agree with my friend Steve above and can tell you for me it is my new favorite Rolex and yes more so than both my 116500's.

I own both and there is just no comparison. The Pepsi BLRO not only beats the BLNR but every other watch Rolex has in its current offerings. A total winner.

the jubilee is surely interesting but it just does not go with the usual buckle, which makes the combo look weird and like an artificial match IMHO. also i strongly dislike the bleached colors on the BLRO. either rolex wanted them this way, then they made a bad choice or they cannot do them in a nice way then why should one buy the watch? i already turned down the BLRO twice from ADs, so it seems the supply is kind of normalizing.

I’d get the BLNR all over again...

I prefer the Oyster bracelet over the jubilee. I also think the colors make more sense (blue for day, Black for night).

Practically speaking, those are the only two factors that most buyers will consider. The cases are near identical. And the newer movement really only represents an enhancement to power reserves.

Which one are you going to get?

Owning the BLNR for awhile now, I'd go for a change and get the Pepsi; however, if I didn't have either, I'd buy the BLNR.

IMO, there are many other rolex watches that come with oyster bracelet.
Pepsi is the only professional watch that comes with a jubilee, making a must have.

Gloriously cool watch. Thought I'd hate the jubilee, I ended up really liking it. Just suits the watch so much and gives it a retro style all of it owns.

Well the two main differences bracelets and bezels. Both of which I prefer the BLNR. The red blue may be the current Rolex icon, but I think the blue and back will become the new icon. Blue black, day and night, it’s perfect

With the status of my current collection, the BLNR is a better fit for me. If I were buying a one and only; I am not as sure. The BLRO is certainly growing on me.

I love my BLNR -- it's become my go-to daily since picking it up. That being said, I'd jump quickly on the opportunity to pick up a BLRO. I can't imagine hesitating on moving forward with one as soon as I get the call. I am a big fan of the GMT complication and think the two watches can peacefully co-exist in a (small) collection. I think the differences in the bezel and bracelet give the BLRO a totally different look even though they're from the same GMT II family.

I think if you could only have one, I'd pick the BLNR for versatility. If you place more value on having something more "unique" in your collection (maybe because something like a black Sub is your good ol' faithful daily) I'd go with the BLRO. The bezel colors and bracelet give that watch a "retro chic" look that you just don't see on any other watches from the current Rolex SS line-up.

I'd have to flip a quarter since both are so nice.

Realistically a BLNR would be my choice since it is more readily available with a 3 month wait for me rather than a 2 year wait on the BLRO.
