Movin' on Up...

Bought the RG Rubberclad in 2011 and loved it and wore it for 2.5 years.

Recently sold it and "moved" on up to the 44mm RG ROO Novelty.

I think its going to take winning the lottery to make the final leap to the ultimate AP RG ROO...the tourbillon!!!

Wrist shot and a pic with its two "younger brothers" below...

Beautiful!

And yes, the Tourbillon would take some serious $$

There is at least 3 of them in HK that I've seen and that are still at the respective AD/Boutique.

(1) Elements Mall AP Boutique
(2) Carlson Watches AD in Central
(3) Ocean Terminal AP Boutique

TBH, I think 44mm RG ROO looks better than the Tourbillon

The tourbillon is on a short list of two items I have at the moment.

Mind you, I would change the carbon bezel for ceramic probably.

Why? The ceramic is plain, the carbon has life.
However, there is no ceramic bezel anyway, so moot point, good luck finding any interchangeable parts.

Nice family shot though.

Plain or not, I prefer the resilience of ceramic for the bezel. AP will customise pieces for me, I am a very good customer.

Your watch your choice. But, if you get a good bezel with character I bet you'll never change, it would essentially be a downgrade. Lighting is everything, ceramic is one dimensional, the same in all lighting, carbon has a life of its own, plain to wow, all based on how the light catches it. Just my opinion, nothing more.

Like you i would pick this up if/when i win the lottery haha

Tried one on in Taipei and it's a beauty. Three of my buddies all have one and i think they're the first three or only three in Taipei to own this one.

Honestly, it really isn't plain at all, get it into the light and you'll love it. Equally it is reasonably robust. Good luck and I hope you strike a deal.
