Your favorite OEM straps?
Hey folks,
Just wondering what your favorite OEM straps were? Maybe a list of 1 or 2? Just trying to get a pulse of what's popular. Thanks, J

The gators are money. You can't go wrong.
And then there is the rubbah!!!! Can't say I'm a fan of the "vintage" line of OEM straps. All feel waxy and kind of cheap, but that is just me. Some people love 'em and that that is all that counts. I don't have any nice leather that is OEM. The cashmere looks really good in pics however.

I agree with MFER that the OEM crocs are outstanding. The selection of the pattern, cutting and workmanship I think are generally better than the aftermarket. The original calf leather strap I got with the zero I thought was pretty ordinary.

I've got a neat one on order that should look good with PVD. Will report back in a few days with pics.

The OEM alligator straps are the best. I just wish they came in different sizes. 115/75 is a little too short and 125/95 is just crazy long the wrong end.
I have 2 favorites among other OEMs Gold alligator nubuck and dark blue semi matt |

None. The OEM straps suck. Garbage. Incorrectly sized, wrong number of loops, just plain worthless trash. I wish I could give the ones I bought back for half what I paid. Incredibly disappointing.

I just custom ordered a black/gray nubuck from Panerai.
Hopefully it will have a nice sheen like the gold alligator. |
