I can easily get three times closer than this, but what's the point? I could just type a white "R" or something on a black background in Photoshop.

I used a macro lens.
Truth is that I can get about three times closer than that but the paint imperfections were just too ugly lol

This is one of the reasons I don't like the white dialed ExpII. It's bad enough to cover white gold with black paint on the markers/hands, but the paint job is usually pretty bad when you look through a loupe. Like really bad.
