Thoughts on GMT 1675 Black insert

Hi, I am offered this black insert for my 3.3Mil 1675 GMT. Question is this a service black insert? How would be the correct black insert for my watch be? What is the right price range for this? Thanks for your advice

I vote Service, or at least mid 80s

There are no correct black inserts for the time frame of your watch.

Hi Springer, does this mean during this period of 3.3Mil more or less different kinds of black insert came out?

I believe he was stating that your watch would not of come with a black insert originally, based on its serial number.

The only evidence I have ever seen for black inserts on a GMT 1675 was during the later part of the 1970s. Someone on another forum had posted some photos from a Rolex Japanese publication that depicted the GMT 1675 with a black insert.

I believe the black insert was first available on the 16750.
