Today is a good day
Hello all,
I have been obsessed with rolexes since I was about 10. I found out my uncle, a construction worker, wore a Rolex. But I thought only rich people had these watches?!?! It turns out, these watches are expensive for a reason. You pay once, and enjoy for the rest of your life. Then, if you like, you pass it on to your children. I have been obsessed with rolexes ever since. In 2008, I was finally able to purchase my first Rolex. I bought an M series sea dweller 16600 brand new and that thing never left my wrist. It brought a smile to my face every time I put it on. Fast forward 5 years- due to personal reasons, I had to sell the watch. I tried to sell on CL but after one meeting lead to an attempted “snatch and run”, I sold directly to a dealer for a fair price (right before prices started going up). For those who are interested-in 2008 msrp was $6400 and I paid $6200 out the door. I sold for $5500 in 2013 before prices really started appreciating. I recently got back into a position that allows me to purchase a Rolex again. I started looking at 16600 and 116600s but man have the prices increased. Then there is the new sea dweller 126600 but the 43mm size really intimidated me. I like the deep sea but it seemed too large for a watch that I will wear every single day. After a lot of research I called my AD to talk. That was about a month ago and I just got the call to pick up my new watch. I’ll have pics shortly! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yeah! I guess no one else on the list had much Purchase history with the store. Seems like the ADs outside of the main metro areas have much more reasonable wait times. I’m very grateful! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Dope watch man! It's the one sub variant I would consider!

Happy it turned out ok but here is the post from when it happened. I definitely feel for the folks out there who actually had their watch stolen. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=289009 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It is the sweet average! Between mine and the deep sea. Congrats!! Deep sea is too big for every day use.. but it is built like a tank.
