Icon20 Got the call - 116508 Green Daytona

After two years of waiting I finally got the call. It’s such a gorgeous dial color. Saw this first in 2016 when they were announced. Had to have it. Pictures do not do this watch any justice. The emerald green dial changes colors in different lighting conditions. First solid gold piece with a gold bracelet. Have a great day.

Narbeh! Congratulations my friend, truly a stunner and an excellent incoming. Pure jealousy over here.

Enjoy the heck out of it and looking forward to hearing how you like it. Happy Friday!

What’s up brother! How are you!?

Thanks man. I’ve been staring at it all morning. Haha. It’s super nice. Thinking about putting it on a Rubber B strap (black rubber with green pinstripe). Thoughts?

I am doing great brother! I had to google some pics of YG on the Rubber B, and if you love the look, I say go for it. For me, I would keep it on the bracelet; I think it looks absolutely stunning on it and pulls the look together.

Valid point. How’s the 5002 treating you my man?

You should definitely try. I just ordered the rubber b for my green dial YG GMT. Of course it’s a matter of taste but I would not order it with the green pin stripe. The green does not 100% coincide with the green on the dial and I think plain black looks more classy.

I think I’m going to skip the rubber altogether.

Wife and I are going to his concert in Los Angeles for the 5th time now in a couple weeks. He is very knowledgeable on the topic and I do appreciate what he’s done for the watch. Let’s see if his predictions are true in 10 years.

He is the man in my book. The reason I picked up guitar. Then when I found out we share the same birthday and he is a watch nut made me appreciate him even more.
